ALVAREZ

Alvarez is a director, illustrator, and character designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He specializes in character-driven projects with a strong emphasis on art direction and mixed media. In 2010, he created the artistic collective Cucacolor, working on various projects involving graphic design, animation, motion graphics, murals, cover artworks for record labels and independent comics. As an illustrator, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo, and his work has been published in Art Box Japan, 80s Sixed, Doodle Anonymous, Global Urban Art, Be Creative or Die, Deep Flux, Artists Wanted, and Beyond the Lyrics with a tribute to Prince, among others. As a director and animation director, he has worked for brands like PEPSICO, MTV, Jolly Rancher, McDonald’s, Notco, Cup of Noodles, Mani King, and Tulipán, winning several international awards.
