Sawa was born in 1980, and for as long as he can remember, drawing has been his main form of expression. As a child, he spent entire nights creating worlds and stories, which naturally led him into the world of animation. He began working in animation in 1998, and by 2004, he had become an art director, collaborating on projects for Disney, Cartoon Network, MTV, Riot, and many other clients. Later, he founded his own company, where he had the opportunity to direct and bring his ideas to life. Over time, he chose to continue this journey as an independent director, working for clients such as Univisión and Portkey Games, but deep down, he’s still that kid who stayed up all night drawing until sunrise.
